What Can Islamic History Teach Us Today?

Salahuddin’s triumph at Hattin. The Ummah’s rebirth after the Mongols. The fall and rise of empires.

Our history isn’t just a record of the past—it’s a blueprint for today.

So why does Gaza still burn? Why do occupations persist? Because we’ve been taught history as stories, not strategies. We memorise dates but miss the patterns—the timeless lessons of resistance, revival, and divine victory.

My aim is not to re-tell Islamic history. It’s to dissect it.

Through short animations, quizzes, and hard-hitting analysis, I dissect Islamic history—not to reminisce, but to act. What did Salahuddin know about unity that we’ve forgotten? How did scholars rebuild civilization from ruins? And most crucially: How do we apply this today?

I’m not a scholar, historian or political expert. Just a Muslim utilising Islamic history resources to spark debate, challenge narratives and inspire change amongst the youth.

We need stop consuming history and start weaponising it.

The Ummah doesn’t need more spectators. It needs warriors of intellect.

So the question is: What will you do about it?
